Doggie Grace When the grandchildren came to stay during vacations, we had firm instructions to say grace before every meal. Regardless of one's religious beliefs, saying grace is a time to calm down before a meal; a time to ponder, perhaps, on all the work that goes into producing our meal, from the farmer that planted and tended, to the pickers that harvested, the whole distribution system up through the grocer, the person that worked to pay for the groceries, and finally the person that prepared and served the meal. And also to be thankful, to God, Mother Nature, or whatever one's belief. I wonder what this dog thinks? web tool |
