I Wonder Why

(A great poem to enjoy and to read to your children or grandchildren at bedtime:)

I wonder why the sky is blue
and why the clouds are white.
I wonder why the sun is hot
and the moon lights up the night.

I wonder why the grass is green
and flowers smell so sweet.
I wonder why the tide comes in
and how two lovers meet.

I wonder how our lives are planned
and how we choose the way.
I wonder about the things we do 
and say the things we say.

I wonder if we realize 
and thank the Lord above
for creating all these things for us
and teaching us to love.
