Haiku

Granddaughter Jackie sends another poem she wrote, defining weather as an animal:

The Snake!

The snake strikes
Unpredictable
Without warning
As quick as a blink
Not a second longer.
It strikes the land
Slithering through the sky,
Watch out!

It may come towards you.
The strike may be deadly
But if you're lucky
You'll survive
To tell the tale
Of being struck
By lightning.
