Haiku

I'm inspired by Granddaughter Jackie's English assignment about weather as compared to an animal, as in her recent poem, "The Eagle".    I jotted this one down; Jackie will probably come through  with  more.   You're invited - send in your own.

The Spider

Glistening at sunrise,
Floating the breeze,
Brushing our faces
With deceptive ease.

Covering the meadow
With webs of bright dew,
Watch where you step;
It crawls in your shoe.

Hampering travelers,
Invading our clothes,
Runlets on windowpanes
Show where it goes.

Condensation is everywhere!
