You can make this crispy treat with your children, but be careful of the syrup; it will burn seriously. Let them scoop them out into little balls of sweetness. Corn Flake Balls 1 C. sugar Lay out wax paper, or butter a greased 9" x 13" pan. Place sugar and corn syrup in a large heavy saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until completely combined. Quickly stir in the corn flakes.
Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper, or pour into buttered pan. If using a pan, allow to cool and cut into squares. Makes about 60 balls or small squares. web tool |
