Repair Clinic

Hard to believe this odd combination of ingredients makes such a delicious drink.  If your kids like strawberry flavored candy, soda pop, ice cream or milkshakes, they'll love this one.  You don't have to tell them it's absolutely bursting with important vitamins and antioxidants from concentrated orange juice, honey, strawberries and green tea.   This recipe was taken from the  National Honey Board site.honeybee.gif (1778 bytes)

Honey Tea Cooler

1 pint fresh strawberries, stemmed and cleaned
1/4 cup honey
1  6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups brewed green tea, cooled

In a blender or food processor, combine the strawberries and honey.  Process until smooth.  Add the orange juice concentrate and continue to process until well blended.   Stir into the cooled tea and mix well.

(Note for adults:  this isn't bad with a shot of vodka added, either.)
