This odd beverage, Morir Soñando,  comes from Santo Domingo, and means in Spanish "to die dreaming".   A Dominican friend, Baldemiro Escalante, would often fix my favorite recipe on hot afternoons.  It is often made with grapefruit juice, or sour oranges, and sometimes with plain orange juice, as in this video.
