Please be aware that your "Blue Tea" Free Sample link takes you to an XXX site.

Bess W. Metcalf:  Thanks & Explanation

The link read:  "Blue Tea blend contains healthful blue plants: palo azul, cyanus, malva and lavender.  It contains no sweeteners, no calories, no caffeine, and provides antioxidants, the company states.  Register for a free sample."

Obviously the Blue Tea Company has relinquished its website, so the name of their URL was up for grabs.  Companies can buy these names, put up anything they want and give people that follow the links a big surprise.

I check fairly regularly for "missing" links with the automatic checker on FrontPage, the program I use to write this website.  It cannot tell me, however, when something like the above occurs.  My apologies if anyone was offended.

Valerie:  Avocado Link

Feb. 20, 02

SneakyKitchen folks:

After finding your web site in a websearch for ripening an avocado, I was directed to your web page:  ..\How-to-do-it\index.htm
The link on this page to avocado information ( Avocado, how to select, ripen and peel ) was linked to the a closed website.

When the page loaded, it was a 404 error, so this link is broken.  This page has been moved, and can be found at:  About Avocados

Bess W. Metcalf:  It's fixed and more

There's now a forward on the link to their new location.  I am updating the How To page and thank you very much for the notice.  I always appreciate knowing about dead links, which occur with frequency and are beyond my control.   Here's More on Avocados.

Jackie B. Ezell.....Software for Family Recipe Gifts

10/27/02

I am trying to find a software program that will allow me to enter my recipes that I have had in my family for years.  I want to compile these recipes (I haven't decided my print format - I think the easiest to add to will be index cards) and give them as Christmas gifts each year.  Would your software work for this project?

Thanks for your comments.

Bess W. Metcalf.....I Think We Have What You Want

I have always believed that the nicest gifts are from the heart and from one's own labor.  In lean years when we made our kid's and family's gifts, those were often the most memorable.
