I am looking for old-fashioned butternut flavoring (red in color, but turns yellow in a recipe). Do you happen to carry this product and if so how much is it, what size bottle, how do I order, do you take credit cards?

Unfortunately there is a problem with the vendor for a key ingredient, and although it is on the order blank, it is tagged as temporarily out of stock.  Please book mark this site: http://www.watkinsonline.com/metcalf   click on search, and put "butternut" in the seach box , perhaps every three or four weeks, and it is expected back before too long.

This flavoring comes in 2 oz. bottles, and yes, we take credit cards.

Hi,

By chance, has this product been re-stocked yet? I'd love to buy some to bake a butternut cake in time for Christmas. I'm sure we'd all appreciate an update on the flavoring's status. :)

We do not have the butternut flavoring at this time, but hope to have it back in the line soon.   Yes, we take credit cards or debit cards.

Hi there, I was interested in purchasing two bottles of butternut extract. I noticed on the website that you sell this but did not see it in the actual shopping catalog. How much do you charge for how many ounces and how might I go about ordering some. Thank you in advance!

I'm really not sure anyone else carries it.  I hope that Watkins will soon have it; we will send out a newsletter notification when it becomes available.  I'll bet your recipe is really good.  Would you share it?

Thanks,

I found butternut flavoring at Fante's in Philadelphia. A 2-oz. bottle costs $1.99 plus shipping (1-2 weeks delivery). They are open Tuesday-Friday 9-5 Eastern time, email <mail@fantes.com>, tel. # (800) 44-FANTE or (215) 922-5557. ~ Lydia

Thank you for this information.  I have been looking for pure butternut flavoring for a long time.  I found the imitation kind, but as you know, the difference in taste is extreme.  My pound cake recipe had pecans and diced cherries.

Did you ever find the flavoring?  I was raised in the MidWest and my Grandmother make this cake, it was amazing!!!!!!!!!  But I can't find the flavoring out here.  Please, let me know if you found it and where.  Thank you, Rebecca
