From Wasaga Beach on Canada Border: I have a bottle of Watkins summer drink compound (cherry cluster) in a square bottle with a cork top. There is no date on the bottle, I would appreciate any info you could give me on it. Thanks.

Well, it took long enough to get the information, but I finally did.  The square bottle with a cork top was used for years, apparently from the 1930's.  But Cherry Cluster (what a great name!) was introduced and sold in the early 60's, for a short time in the cork top bottle.  Watkins changed its beverage concentrates to a screw-top bottle after that, and a few years ago to a plastic unbreakable bottle in six flavors:  Black Cherry, Cranberry-Peach, Fruit Punch, Grape, Raspberry Lemonade, and Strawberry-Kiwi.  Right now we don't have any; who knows it they will bring them back this summer or next!

There's also cooler mixes, flavored iced teas, flavored hot cocoa mixes in the Gourmet Beverage line.  Go to our Watkins home page for more info.

I wouldn't drink that beverage concentrate, but it has to be a keepsake.   Do you have a picture?  We'd love to see it.
