The last time I ordered almond extract from you (two or three years ago) I was disappointed in the "imitation" product that you sent. It lacked the delicate flavor of the almond that you get in baked goods made with the pure almond extract that contains oil of almond. I have searched your web site and have contacted my Watkins representative in Lexington, SC to see if I could buy the pure extract. All that we can find is your imitation almond (it doesn't contain any almond extract). I use almond flavoring quite a bit in my cooking and have a hard time finding it in a large economical size like the Watkins 6 oz. bottles. I was wondering if you plan to carry the pure almond extract in the future. Me and my family have been using your vanilla for more than 30 years. I still prefer your brand of lemon and orange extracts.

I have checked with our marketing department as to why we do not offer a Pure Almond Extract.

It is just not feasible. In order for it to be considered "pure" almond extract you must use oil of bitter almonds which is very expensive. We would not be able to offer it at good retail price for customers.

Perhaps you could suggest she at least try our Almond Extract, especially since she likes our Vanilla, Orange, and Lemon Extracts. It is fully guaranteed and if she is not satisfied she can return it for a full refund.
