I remember Grampa taking me to a very large church that his father pastored at (on our way to NY). There was an elderly lady there who remembered Grampa when he was young and she remembered Great Grampa. She took us up to the attic of this church where they had a painting of great grampa. I remember asking her about it because it looked just like Grampa. It was the first time I had seen a picture of Great Grampa and I was amazed at how much he resembled his father. I can't remember where that church was. I think that it was in Erie PA. It was awhile before we got to the rest of the sites that Gramma & Grampa wanted to show us.
