- Maintaining Waxed Floors: Dust waxed floors frequently
with an untreated mop or with the floor brush attachment of the vacuum
cleaner. Chemically-treated or oily mops will dull the gloss and leave
a film of oil. Occasionally damp mop floors that get the most wear.
To prevent white spots that require re-waxing or re-polishing, immediately
wipe up any water spilled on paste- or liquid-waxed floors.
- Hand Dusting: Simply remove the dust mop head from
the handle and place your hand inside. Spray it lightly with
Duster Spray and it will attract dust like a magnet.
- Maintaining Floors Free of Dust and other Allergens:
Dust floors frequently to pick up and
eliminate dust and other small particles. Shake mop vigorously outside to dispose of dust,
fuzz, and other small particulate matter. For unwaxed or
lightly waxed floors, spray the mop lightly with
Duster Spray (#756) to increase its dust magnet
properties. Occasionally damp mop floors that get the most
wear.
