1. Rinse well and completely squeeze excess moisture from head after each use.
2. Dry and store mop with hang-up loop in an airy place to keep clean and free of mildew.

Soak mop in water before first use to improve water absorbency.

Dull Floors: Floors can dull due to a poor cleaner or too much cleaner.  Restore the shine by mopping the floor with Mop & Shine (# 731)  or Wood Floor Cleaner & Polish (# 657).

Cleaning Brick, Unglazed Tile and Flagstone Floors: To clean these rough surfaces, use a cotton string mop. A sponge mop will break apart, leaving sponge particles. To avoid leaving streaks, mop in a figure eight pattern starting in the farthest corner of the room and working toward the door.
