Monthly Advertising Postcards

Most of us who do Fuller Brush part time, and many who work full time but have a lot of customers on file, cannot call or visit every customer every month.  But contact is the secret to high sales.  Customers need to keep us in mind when they need any cleaning supply or gift, which is probably at least every several weeks. Those of us who earn with Fuller Direct can keep addresses on file, too, and retain customers.  For a tiny cost and a small amount of time, you can contact your good customers every month!

First, buy a package of 110 lb. paper at your local office supply.  It's just the right thickness for a post card.   If you have quite a number of customers, make sure they are on file in a form that will generate labels - for instance, an address book software.  If you cannot do this, you probably know someone who can help you.

I include all customers who purchase at least twice a year or more often, or purchase a LOT once a year.   Count yours and divide by four.  Print this amount of postcards (see the link above).   Cut each sheet into four postcards 5 1/2" by 4 1/4".

On the reverse side, put your return address, phone number and other contact information.  You can use pre-gummed labels, or a rubber stamp, or print by hand if you have only a few.  Address using labels, or print addresses and cut and tape them to the post cards, or just do it by hand.  Each post card will need a 28¢ stamp.

You can also send this form by email to those who have given you an email address - for free!

Many customers will call by themselves when they receive the card.  However, you can increase the amount of sales by giving a follow-up phone call when you can.
