Fried Fish

    

1 pound/ 454 g fish fillets
3 tsp/ 15 mL (divided) Watkins Grill Seasoning
1 egg
1 tbsp/ 15 mL water
1/4 cup/ 60 mL yellow cornmeal
1/4 cup/ 60 mL all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp/ 1.2 mL Watkins Paprika
As desired Watkins Black Pepper 6 oz.
1/4 cup/60 mL Watkins Original Grapeseed Oil

Sprinkle fish fillets with 1 tsp/ 5 mL Grill Seasoning.  Combine egg and water in flat bowl; beat with a fork.  In another bowl, blend together cornmeal, flour, remaining Grill Seasoning, paprika and pepper.  Dip fish first into egg mixture, then into cornmeal mixture to coat. 

Heat grapeseed oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; fry fillets until brown on one side, about 4 minutes.  Turn and brown the other side.  Cook until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork; do not overcook.  Makes 2 servings.
