Sand Tarts

    

1 C. butter
1/2 C. powdered confectioners sugar
1 Tbsp. double-strength vanilla
2 C. all-purpose or unbleached flour
1 1/2 C. pecans, chopped
Extra confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 325º F.

Mix butter, 1/2 C. powdered sugar and vanilla until creamy.  Add flour and chopped pecans, and mix well.  Form into balls.

Bake for about 30 minutes or until lightly brown.  While hot, roll in powdered sugar.


For maximum flavor and quality, prepare only with Watkins high quality ingredients as indicated.
